The Journey into the Light Continues with Concerts at Iconic Monuments and Archaeological Sites in Greece

Stavros Xarchakos at the Temple of Aphaia in Aegina, with the Support of METLEN Energy & Metals

Athens, GreeceOctober 9, 2024 – After the spectacular event for the illumination of the Temple of Poseidon in Sounion, METLEN Energy & Metals continues the "Journey into Light" with a series of concerts by the renowned conductor Stavros Xarchakos at iconic monuments and archaeological sites across Greece.

The next stop is on October 12 at the Temple of Aphaia in Aegina, where Stavros Xarchakos, accompanied by distinguished artists Giannis Kotsiras and Iro Saia, will present a program that combines beloved melodies of Greek music tradition, offering the audience a unique musical experience. A string and wind orchestra will add an additional dimension to this enchanting evening, which is expected to captivate the audience.

This concert, as well as all those that will follow both in 2024 and 2025, aims to bridge the ancient with the modern and bring the audience closer to the everlasting Greek tradition. It is part of METLEN Energy & Metals' cultural initiatives, once again proving its commitment to promoting and protecting Greek cultural heritage.

Through a series of mystagogical concerts, supported by METLEN Energy & Metals, Stavros Xarchakos will take both Greek and international audiences on a journey to places of light—landmarks of ancient Greece that continue to be pillars of our cultural heritage.
